Excellerate launches unique performance psychology services
to develop high performing businesses
A professional sportswoman and a leading business coach have
joined forces to create Excellerate - a performance psychology consultancy based
on real sporting, academic and business credibility. Excellerate helps clients
to develop a high performance mindset that leads to consistently improved business
results.
Jenny Tranfield, women's international professional squash player and Doctor of
sport psychology and Peter Freeth, leading business coach and author, have joined
forces to create a unique business coaching and consultancy service. This new
service, known as Excellerate, takes the psychology of high performance in sport
and combines it with the most advanced, practical applications of business and
executive coaching.
Businesses today are under greater pressure to perform consistently
well. Traditional training simply fails to deliver the return on investment that
today's economy demands and so many businesses have turned to executive and business
coaching as a way to develop people more effectively. Performance psychology takes
this a step further, creating a high performance mindset that is shared across
a team or business. The principles of sport coaching have always had strong connections
with business coaching, but real business credibility has often been missing from
its practical delivery.
Peter Freeth said "there are a number of organisations
that try to offer sport psychology to businesses, what has been missing until
now has been the credible experience of business coaching and the real depth of
knowledge of performance psychology. Excellerate offers something new and unique
- real experience backed by real expertise."
Excellerate is built on extensive business coaching experience
and creates a way for businesses to access the power of performance psychology
in a professional and practical way.
Jenny Tranfield is a world ranked professional squash player
and also a Doctor of sport psychology. Her combination of real academic credibility
and experience in a high pressure, professional sport environment is absolutely
unique.
Jenny sums up Excellerate's unique service by saying "Other
consultancies have taken on retired sports players who lack business credibility,
or have tried to apply the principles of sport coaching in business without real
business experience to build on. That's what makes Excellerate so unique. Excellerate
has the expertise, the experience and the personality to make a real and immediate
difference to any business."
